Project Coordinator/Assistant
High-End Residential Interior Design Studio | Melbourne
A boutique, design-led interior practice specialising in high-end residential projects is seeking an organised and polished assistant / Project Manager / Design Administrator to support the seamless delivery of projects.
This is a project coordination and design administration role, working closely one-on-one with the director to manage day-to-day project and studio operations. The position is not a design role.
You will liaise confidently with clients, architects, builders, trades and suppliers, and manage multiple priorities with strong organisation, attention to detail and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Direct support to the director across projects and daily operations
Coordination of communication, meetings, site visits, meeting agendas, and follow-up actions
Management of project schedules, timelines, documentation and procurement
Monitor project milestones, deliverables and performance benchmarks to ensure projects are delivered on time
Oversight of ordering, lead times, deliveries and record keeping
General studio administration as required
Part time flexible hours can be considered
About You
Highly organised with strong communication and time management skills
Experience in interior design, architecture, construction or a related field preferred
Confident in client-facing and site environments
Comfortable working to timelines, in an often fast paced environment.
Proactive, reliable and able to manage multiple projects
Familiar with quoting, fee proposals and design service documentation
Strong computer skills; MYOB, Word and Excel advantageous
Must hold a current driver licence and access to a car
